Miss Gourmet & Co. were looking to bring their family business from W.A to Melbourne, both directors had very little experience in how to create a brand and an online experience as extension to their shop.

The Digital White Space team stepped in and began their robust framework “The Measure”.

  • Discovery; through the discovery phase the team started with the business’s, “how and Why”. Reviewing all current plans, marketing activities and research into the landscape and competitors in order to provide a clear situation analysis.
  • Brand Strategy, here we conduct a competitor brand audit, immerse ourselves into the business’s culture, customer behaviour and mapped out what the brand could stand for, its core values and tone of voice.
  • Customer Journey Mapping, here we crafted the ideal State of Play, for how and when customers could be engaged, beginning from awareness to search, nurture and transaction. Through analytics and digital research, assessment and workshops. These insights where used to crafting the strategy, comms and website.
  • Online strategy for the e-commerce store is to tell the story behind the products on offer and to position the brand as the go to for hampers and gifting targeting time poor customers. The go to place for gourmet products that are locally made.
  • Website development; After developing a brand with a strong positioning and shooting brand images, the store and all hamper products. The team at Digital White Space then crafted an online experience as extension to their physical shop.
  • The WordPress site was crafted around a shopify e-commerce store. The site has been built with best practice SEO principles, boasting an integrated blog, marketing automation triggers and easy to use interface for internal team to upload products, news blogs from the backend. The site is designed to push through content to social media channels increasing the reach of content and engaging purchases.
